What do you enjoy outside of work?
I love nature. I spend as much time as I can outside hiking riverbeds, kayak fishing for big bass, finding hidden waterfalls, birding, and taking pictures of it all. What do you think constitutes success?
Success is a mindset to achieve in spite of the challenges. We assume that success only happens when you've reached the pinnacle of your goal when in reality you are successful in pursuit of your goal - as long as you are working towards the pinnacle - success! Even when there are obstacles in the way focusing on the desired result, changing perspectives, and adapting to the environment is what will carry you to the top. Really allowing yourself to succeed takes discipline to overcome obstacles and keep trying when the path you are taking presents those challenges. Our success is in the story of our journey.
